This was a very busy week, not only at work also at home. First things first, at work we are still understaffed, and people are crazy about bring their cars to the shop to get things fixed. On one hand I am glad to have a lot of things going on, but not everything at the same time. The fact that I am the only technician at work, makes the situation even worse However, the manager supports me as much as he can and that makes a huge difference.
At home we are making plans what we need first for our house and how we would like to set up the house. I have several projects in my mind I would like to accomplish, like a headboard for the bed and bookcases for the living area. I have also some ideas for the outside like a little whirlpool and a sauna for 4 people. Besides my ongoing project I was focusing on putting an investment portfolio together, to build an efficient frontier portfolio with just two ETFs and another with three ETFs. This is a very time-consuming process, because of collecting the needed date first and the import them to my spread sheet. I built a template which helps me to get the calculation done much faster. However, my goal is to work at least one or two hours per week on that portfolio.
Next week I and Leslie will celebrate our four years wedding anniversary, therefore we planned to eat breakfast in a restaurant and celebrate that important day together. We drove to the Brass Tap a restaurant which is in the city of Huntsville. There we ordered cheesy pretzel sticks, waffles, and chicken. To drink we had champagne and local beer. It was a nice breakfast together, with a lot of calories. We enjoyed the time together and made some plans. We are both looking forward to celebrating our next few anniversary together.
That was basically everything what was happening in the second week of 2021.
