I got up early in the morning to work on my CV, my goal was to freshen it up as well as add some achievements from the previous jobs. I worked around two hours on it, before I send it to Leslie for checking the grammar for mistakes. After that I had some time to calculate the saving rate for our household for the year 2020. Our goal is to put at least 10% out of our net income into a savings account, and from there into an investment.
Furthermore, it shows me the change in the salary and the savings account. Both numbers are then compared with the inflation. The goal is to understand the change in income and savings inflation adjusted.
Around 10am we left house to drive mum to a wellness saloon where she could enjoy a 45min wellness face treatment. We gave her a voucher as Christmas present. In the meanwhile, I and Leslie went shopping for some work clothes for Leslie in the mall close by. Leslie found some nice blouses.
On our way back home, we stopped at Kroger to buy some groceries for lunch and dinner. The pan was to make a nice cheese and meat platter with some rose wine. Back home Leslie prepared the nice Lunch planter, we decided to eat on the porch because the water was beautiful. After Lunch we both went for our neighborhood walk, both like to walk around the neighborhood, it gives us time to catch up with each other and to spend the time together.
Later in the afternoon I back at the house I worked on one of my other projects, I am using the software sketch up to modeling the floor plan from our house at twin creek as well as all the piping. It takes me a while to get familiar with the software. but we are getting there :-). In the meanwhile, Leslie prepared a nice chicken soup. I love that chicken soup; it is always so flavorful and delicious.
I woke up early on this Sunday morning, I did not sleep very well, so I decided to go up and finalized my CV, so that I can upload it on the indeed job platform. After I took care of the CV, I finished module 4 of my online course. Later, around 12am I prepared lunch for the whole family, I made some bacon, cheese, egg sandwiches with backed beans on the side. We all enjoyed our lunch together.
While Leslie prepared her for work, I run to the dollar tree to buy some magnets, cereal containers and a 12m rope to use at work. After shopping I met with Leslie at the house in Twin Creek, where I took more measurements for my 3d model I am creating with sketch up. To take all the necessary measurements took me around 1.5 hours, before I drove back home.
At the house I had to dig two holes in the backyard to put in a tree and a bush, they have been before in a bucket and mum want them to have planted in the corner of the fence and near the fire pit. While I was digging and planting, mum prepared a nice dinner. We had some backed spaghetti with meat sauce and a salad on the side. After dinner I continued working on the 3d house model and start to put in the measurements I took earlier at the house in Twin Creek.
