On Thursday morning I continued my online course on Edx.com. Today I learned about present value and future value and how to apply this in the financial market with EXCEL, during my Bachelor program I got already introduced to that topic and was it was more of a refresher. However, I have not used Excel so far to calculate these values.
Around 10:45am Leslie and I drove down to Decatur to a CVS location Pharmacy to get my first Covid-19 vaccine shot. I signet up online for a shot on Monday and got that spot, on Thursday. It is about a 40minutes drive from our home, one there I had to stand in line for just 5 minutes until I got the Pfizer vaccine. After the shot I had to wait for about 15minutes before I could leave the pharmacy.
On the way back home, we stopped at ALDI to buy some groceries for lunch. Leslie made a nice brunch with eggs, fresh bread, and sausages. It is always nice to eat with the family. In the afternoon we drove to the lot at twin creek to see if they made any progress on the house. For more detail, please check the status in the Project sector (Buying a House). A few minutes back at the house we decided to play a card game. It is called “Phase 10” and it is a combination of UNO and Rummy.
Trough out the whole day there was heavy rain and a tornado watch for our area. It was a lot of rain that day. Luckily, there was no tornado in the area just heavy rain fall. For dinner we had homemade enchiladas which Leslie made. We both enjoyed the day off together.
