This week my off days were on Friday and Sunday because a co-worker had an appointment he could not reschedule. However, this turned out positive then Leslie also has here day off on Friday. We spent most of our day off together looking for furniture for the house. It is not so easy to find furniture because there is a long back log which causes a delay in delivery. We drove to a couple of different furniture stores in town, there are few and most of this furniture a similar but somehow different which give us a wide variety to choose from. We took pictures and measurement from the furniture we liked to compare them later at home and put them in the 3D model to see if they fit or not. For dinner we went out together to our Mexican restaurant we both like which is not to far from the house.
On Sunday, I had a Skype call with my father, this gave me the chance to catch up with him. We haven’t spoken for almost two or three weeks; I like doing this Skype calls. Leslie had to go to work in the afternoon, but beforehand we drove to Costco to buy our curtains for the house, Costco had a good deal going on. After Costco I drove with mum to the furniture store to show here what we ordered for the house. Later in the afternoon I drove with mum to Home Depot to buy curtain racks to install some of the curtains we bought in the bonus room upstairs where we currently sleep. Back at home I started installing the curtain racks and mum started preparing dinner. After installing the two curtain racks we enjoyed dinner together. Later in the evening I drove to our house at twin creek to take some picture and see how much progress they made over the past few days and prepare myself for the initial walk-through next week.
