Calendar Week 19

On Thursday morning I was answering E-mails from the computer and organized some of de files in new folders. It is important to have a structure so you can find the files in the future again. Furthermore, I finished module 6 from my online class. However, I have not taken the assignment yet for that module. After a short coffee break, I continued working on the 3D model. It takes a lot of time to rebuild the house in that 3D model. When Leslie got up, we had lunch together at home before she had to go to work.

After she left, I drove to our lot at Twin Creek to get more measurements form the interior. It takes some effort to collect all the measurements, I have to work as exactly as possible, because later on when the walls are installed there is no way to get the measurements. Despite the hard and exactly work I have to do, I like to spend time in the new neighborhood, to get already a feeling for it. Back at the house I started to implement the measurements I have taken earlier. Around 6pm I and mum had some dinner together before I went to bed to continue reading my book about investment in stocks and bonds.

On Sunday morning I had a phone call with my father and later with my mother, it was nice to catch up with them, we haven’t spoken with each other for almost two weeks. After the phone call we prepared ourselves to go to the Brickhouse to have brunch together. The Brickhouse is very close to our neighborhood, only 5 minutes by car at providence. At the restaurant I ordered eggs, bacon, toast, and potatoes. Leslie had waffles with boneless chicken and mum ordered a beef omelette. We all enjoyed the Brunch together in the garden of the restaurant.

Afterwards we drove to the storage unit close by to get some of Leslie stuff. Mum wants to empty the storage, so we started to take the lighter stuff back home to the house. On the way back to the house we stopped at the dollar tree to get some little things for crafting and for work. The At home store was close by so we stopped there to get a lamp cover for mum. While mum was shopping i had a phone call with my aunt Rita, we have not spoken for a while, so it was good to catch up with each other.

Back home, Leslie prepared a nice Apéro with pitta chips, mango, and humus as well as a nice cocktail. In the mean while I started to build a lamp out of cork, which I recently saw on Instagram. We all enjoyed the weather ant the Apéro on the patio before it was time for dinner. Leslie made nice tenderloins, potatoes, fried tomatoes, and salad. We enjoyed Leslie’s dinner and we had a good conversation before we went to the TV room to watch one episode of Kim’s Convenience.
