Sunday off always means a lot of work at home, like cleaning, organize documents, cooking, washing. This Sunday, Leslie had to work, and it was just me and mum. In the morning I had enough time to organize my documents on the computer and taking care of answering emails. Furthermore, I was able to work on the website and the blog. However, the morning flew away very fast and I started with cleaning as soon everybody was up. It took me almost an hour to vacuum the whole house and empty all the trash bins. After the housecleaning, I went grocery shopping with mum at ALDI and Publix to get all the ingredients for that day’s dinner.
Back home went for a neighborhood walk, where I discovered a pile of wood from a recently felled tree, the pieces have the right size to fit in our chimney. Back home we decided to drive to the twin creek neighborhood to see if the workers made and progress on the house, where I discovered a mistake the workers did on the framing for the foundation of the house. They left the area for the patio on the wrong corner of the house empty in the foundation, the patio will not have a solid foundation like the rest of the house. I took some pictures and verified on Monday with the constructor that the patio has to be built on the corner on the other side of the house. The constructor told me they will change the framing before they poor the concrete, no harm done, and I notify him at the right time.
As a starter on Sunday evening, we had pretzel bites from Aldi and a beer from the local brewery. For dinner I made my lentils recipe, which everybody in the family likes, and enjoys. We also baked beside some M&M Cookies, they turned out very nice. After dinner it was already time to go to bed. Leslie had to work late shift; she will not be back home till midnight. Once in bed, I decided to contentious watching my series on DMAX.
