Today its Christmas and it’s my day off, which means I can sleep in for a bit, like 7:30 am. After i got up I worked on my webpage to make sure it will be finish soon. Once everybody got up, it was time to start unwrapping the presents from under the tree. This year there were quiet a lot of presents to unwrap. Mum was very generous and bought us a couple of kitchen utensils for our new house. Furthermore, we got some nice clothes and of course chocolate. I got from Leslie a couple of things for the car, like a little vacuum cleaner and some really nice clothes. On the other hand, I bought for here nice UGG boots, she wanted to have. We all enjoyed our gifts, and we were glad that we are able to celebrate Christmas together and can afford to give presents to each other.
After unwrapping the presents, we had a rich breakfast with bacon eggs and biscuits, which make feel to go for walk afterwards. It was cold outside. However, the sun was shining and the route i took was excellent. When I came back, Leslie started to prepare the starter and dinner already. As a starter we had escalope wrapped in bacon which was really delicious and a new dish to me. We had plenty of time between the starter and dinner to pay Monopoly and watching TV together. For dinner Leslie made a slow cooked duck, with roasted butternut pumpkin and roasted Brussels spruce with pecans and strawberries, as well as mashed potatoes. Dinner was excellent again, and we could get enough, we had to stop eating because there was a desert waiting for us which mum loves. A pleasant Christmas goes to end, with a lot of nice presents and delicious food. Tomorrow, both of us have to go back to work again.
