Calendar Week 51 – Christmas Eve

It is getting closer to the end of the year and Christmas is a head. This week I managed to buy all the presents for Leslie and Mum and wrapped them nicely to place them under the beautiful, decorated tree in the dining room. The good thing on Christmas eve I could leave work around 2 pm, this means I had the chance to spend more time with the family.

Leslie had 3 days off, and she was in charge to plan and prepare the menus for the next few days, which I am looking forward to! On Christmas eve we had a self-made fondue with bread, tomatoes, apples to dip into the cheese, with a salad as a side dish. The fondue was delicious and i could eat much more. However, there is some desert waiting for us.

After dinner we, could unpack our stocking gifts from Santa clause, which were hanging by the fireplace. Traditionally mum pares the stocking with lite gifts inside, like chocolate, or toys for the Kittens. It was a very nice evening with family which we all enjoyed.
