This is now my 3rd wee at EOC and I am still at University drive in Huntsville. However, this week my co-worker should come back to support me in the technician shop. I supposed to be back on Tuesday. As expected, he showed up on Tuesday, unfortunately he had bad news to tell; he will leave the company, which means he resigned with a notice period of two weeks. He will work a few days in his remaining time. This involves teaching me everything I need to know to help in the technician shop. The other technician is still at home in quarantine, this leads to the fact that am mostly alone in the shop and do all the mechanic work as well as the customer service. A good thing is though that the store manager comes and support me if there is too much work. However, they are not communicating how they handle the situation in the future. It looks like they do not know or have not decided yet. I am glad to have a job, but it is not ideal, due to the fact I signed up for service writer not as a technician. Let us see what happens in the future, this is maybe a good opportunity to gain more responsibility. Moreover, Leslie got invited to a second job interview at OG, she is very excited, and she is looking forward to getting a chance to show here skills in person.
